We stayed here for one night on our way to Copper Harbor, so glad we did! Our concierge (Shawnee) contacted us shortly after we made reservations and got our info, and when we arrived we had an early anniversary care package waiting for us! Room was awesome, shower was great and the bed was comfy, walking distance to several eateries and the happy hour between 5-7pm (with Shawnee serving drinks) was nice. The breakfast in the lobby was very good, especially enjoyed the bacon/egg and mushroom pastry/pasties. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re in Marquette!

This was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in, not just in Marquette, but anywhere. It's largely contactless, but the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was special with personal touches. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped. The bed was plush and comfortable, and best of all, the room was QUIET. The hotel is convenient to restaurants, shops and the waterfront. Parking in a private lot was included. We could not have asked for a better stay. Would recommend without hesitation to anyone. Thank you for an incredible stay!!

A few of us girls stayed here while attending an event at the Ore Dock, and it was absolutely perfect. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Everything felt high-end and a little boujee in the best way. We loved the cocktail happy hour, and the breakfast spread was amazing. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend staying here!

Our experience was wonderful! The room was extremely spacious. The layout was well thought out. The additional amenities in the room were a very nice touch! We will definitely be recommending this hotel to others and we will be coming back for a future stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this new hotel. The location is perfect for downtown Marquette. The rooms were great, the shower was awesome, and service was top-notch. Shawnee did a great job of keeping us informed about all the details of our stay. She also prepared a great welcome drink for us. The pastries and snacks in the morning is also a great touch. We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

We had an amazing time staying at Explore : Marquette Historic District hotel. They were extremely accommodating for my wife's birthday celebration. We had a gift of wine and other snacks in the room upon our arrival. The location is hands down the best spot if you want to be in walking distance of everything downtown Marquette has to offer. Definitely look into staying here on your next trip to Marquette!

We have stayed in Marquette on multiple occasions and decided to try something new by booking at EXPLORE Marquette. Our stay was exceptional from check-in to check-out. The attention to detail is apparent in the room decor and furnishings, front and rear entry areas, the continental breakfast spread to the snacks made available throughout the day. Shawnee warmly welcomed us at the start of our stay and promptly responded to any of our needs/requests. Even though it was a cold weekend, we loved being able to walk to all of our favorite places in downtown Marquette. EXPLORE Marquette will definitely be a place we stay again.

We were in town for a Pictured Rocks backpacking trip and this was the perfect hotel for the night before we started. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The high end coffee pots and cocktail hour were the icing on the cake. They were even so kind as to prepare breakfast to go given our early departure and it was perfect. If you're in Marquette I would definitely recommend the Explore hotel.
